HS Cheerleaders Get Drunk and One is her own Lawyer!

Before a big game back on Nov 30, the co-captains of the Danvers High School cheerleading squad decided to get drunk and they got caught.
Charged with disorderly conduct, one girl opted for a drug treatment program and the other decided to act as her own attorney.
It seems she did a good job too and only got a years probation with random drug and alcohol testing, despite her already being on probation for driving under the influence.
What do the girls think they should have done? The police report says our young attorney/cheerleader told the cops the girls should have just taken the drug Oxycontin instead since "No one does anything about it" and alcohol causes too much of a problem with adults.
The girls mother says everyone should be lenient because her daughter is a good student with an excellent record and a high SAT score. After all she hopes to go to college and is eligible for a scholarship.
It just seems she has a problem with the drinking and drugs, that's all. Maybe she will finally overcome it at all the Jock Frat parties she will go to in college.
